Will using synthetic oil void my
manufacturers guarantee?
No, there’s much information on the
Amsoil web page about this.Do I have
to use dealer parts to avoid my car guarantee being terminated?
No. There is a law called Mangnuson Moss that protects you from
this. The dealer only can tell you that you have to use their parts
if they are giving them for free. Make sure you get this in writing.
Can I check a car (have it inspected by
you) after its been purchased?
Yes specially if you bought
the car with a guarantee, which should be no less than 30 days.
Before the 30 days expire, you can bring the car back to the seller
and demand the car to be fixed. If you bought the car “as is”, I can
still inspect the car but the repair costs will be your
responsibility.
